This Pirate door knocker was created in March 2020 during the Coronavirus lockdown. The wood is probably a bit to dark, but it was made from the timber that I had laying around - 3 bits of scrap mahogany glued together with a bit of ply to create the anchor. P.S. yes - it does work as a door knocker !
The Green man below was born in May 2020. Another product of the Corona virus lockdown. He was inspired by a green man that I found in a local garden center last summer. I always take pictures of suitable subjects to give me ideas. It was created from a few bits of scrap white pine salvaged from a skip and glued together. The piece was finished with a light oak matt varnish. I feel that this one came out OK.😊
